Título: The colours of inclusion

 ¿Cuándo? del 2 al 10 de junio de 2016

 ¿Dónde? Tallin (Estonia)

Contexto

The Colour of Inclusion is a youth exchange that will bring together 42 young people (6 participants from 6 partners from different countries, plus 1 youth leader for each country). Which will be held in Tallinn, Estonia . Nicentbatcardta . The participants will come from backgrounds that have been linked with social exclusion such as those who have dropped out of school, the long term unemployed, those at risk of poverty and lower on the socio – economic scale. The youth leaders involved will be young people currently working in the field of social inclusion in order to provide direction to the young people and share best practice. The main focus of the project will be to explore, raise awareness of and fight barriers to social inclusion that are central to the participants, and to promote and spread values as solidarity, mutual understanding and intercultural awareness as core European values. The main aim of the project will be to build the confidence and trust of the participants through the innovative use of a variety of art forms, while educating them in how to improve their participation in society, both in the short and long term, without compromising their individuality and integrity. During the project participants will discuss social inclusion and the factors that affect it within their own countries, then work together multi-nationally, using input from their own culture, to raise awareness of and address these issues and the methods in which problems may be resolved. This will be done using the art forms they prefer, thereby promoting and presenting their culture and at the same time becoming part of a larger group and tackling a wider issue. Additionally, time will be given each day towards self-reflection outside of the activities and for young people to approach any topics with staff that they may feel are too private for them to address with the whole group. The final outcome of this self-discovery and artistic development will be a public presentation of the products developed during the exchange and a 2 minutes spot from each group that addresses one of the issues of social inclusion. After the exchange, These final videos and the pieces of art created will offer an understanding of the way in which the constituent countries of the European Union can work together to break down barriers, whilst also celebrating and showcasing their beauty and passion. The films and the pictures will then be disseminated to partners, relevant organizations and the participants themselves through as many different means as possible.

Context

Unemployment, specially youth unemployment, is one of the major social concerns in Europe. This issue becomes more important in the countries where a stagnant economy with no growth prospects is unable to provide jobs for its people. The lack of employment opportunities in many countries makes talk of a lost generation. However, as consequence of the jobs crisis, more and more young are exploring an option of self-employment. Within these options gain strength cooperative models of organization based in peer collaboration and in the economy with “human face”. However, the social economy offers an opportunity for future that is still unknown to most of young people and many of them are still unaware of the advantages of undertaking seeking not only financial performance but also social.
Ideas in Action is a project which aims to spread the concept of social entrepreneurship among youngsters from six different countries. For 7 workdays we’ll gather 24 young people from Spain, Portugal, Italy, Poland, Romania and Greece in order to create a space for exchanging experiences and inspiration. Nicentbatcardta . Ideas in Action is a project created to promote and encourage the entrepreneurial spirit of our participants and by extension their communities of origin. We aim to encourage and reinforce this feeling in the young people, so that they can consider entrepreneurship with social sensibilities not only as a citizenship responsibility but also as an opportunity for job creation With this objective in mind we’ll organize presentations, field visits, group work and dynamics in sessions aimed at sharing ideas and translate them into concrete projects.
Objectives

-Spread the concept of social entrepreneurship among European youth developing projects involving various national and international realities.
-Share knowledge on the different aspects of an action plan referred to a juvenile or social enterprise initiative, and the process of creation (legal paperwork, fundraising, practices and characteristics of different initiatives, projects, etc.)
-Share experiences and best practices on various social initiatives, especially those driven by youth.
-Establish a network of European work within which young people can develop projects and generate synergies in social entrepreneurship -Promote different European programs for youth (especially Erasmus plus) as an opportunity that allows young people to put their ideas into practice to improve the situation in their own communities.

Descripción

The main aim of EWE network is to make a contact between the youngsters from East and Western Europe, also including their neighbour countries. Expressly the project assumed from the fact that the borders of Europe do not agree any more to those of the European Union. Meanwhile the situation has radically changed in Western Europe and East Europe. After the EU and NATO entry in 2004 the borders have become opened for parts of the East European states, for other less. A visa requirement still exists with many states of East Europe. With the approach
above all of NATO to the Russian Federation the tensions have intensified between the east and west again, while 10 years ago all sides took care of notification. The war in the East of the Ukraine is the peak, the war like escalation in East Europe. To be able to determine new aims, it is first tried to carry out a common analysis of the political situation. According to country of origin this will be certainly very different. We will invite to the support here a guest from the outside who was born in Poland and sits now in the land day of North Rhine-Westphalia. But also on the work of the single groups should be entered. All groups are asked to introduce her activities, not only the area which concerns Europe. The groups should also formulate in the approach her expectations of a changed East-West-East-Project and introduce on the seminar. These preconsiderations form together with the analyses of the political situation the basis for the  new regulation of the aims of the network within the scope of the program ERASMUS +. The first considerations for the wide work should be done.
