Although Luis has already turned 76, he is considered one of the most active citizens of Ferrol. Luis has been full of ideas that not only came to fruition, but are still being practiced today.

Serigne Mbacke arrived in Spain 15 years ago with just his three Senegalese friends. He himself now works in contstruction, directs the Senegalese Association of Ferrol and has just become a father. The beginning was anything but easy: a new language, new customs, new challenges, but also new opportunities.
Fran's journey started in Ferrol, continued through different parts of Europe and ended in the place where it all started with a completely new attitude and vision. Today, his organization invites people from all over Europe and turns global values into local actions.
